I’m not going to convince you to do anything you don’t want to do. That’s up to you.
“My passion is to help others succeed.”
Look, I’ve always been a passionate person. For me, passion is maximizing my life and getting the most out of everything. My passion is going hard at everything I do. It’s my fuel; it’s my energy. It’s me giving 100% of myself every day.
Today starts a 3-part series on how to find your true passion and purpose to begin building your legacy. I will show you how to integrate passion into not only your career but every aspect of your life. I’ll tell you right now that it won't be easy. It will be one of the most challenging goals to achieve, but it will be worth it. To immerse yourself into a field you love is something incomparable.
“What do you love to do? What is your passion?”
When I was a kid, it was going ALL IN playing sports, as I loved it. All of my side jobs were over-performed because I loved what the money I was making could do for me. As an adult, I love to create something from nothing, so I became an entrepreneur and went full throttle. I love what I do, and that passion has charted my course.
What I realized along the way is one of my true passions is people. I love to help others achieve their goals. My passion for people goes beyond personal gains: I want others to find and unlock their power. That love for mentoring and networking with people led me to start www.mikeregina.io. One more time: it’s because it’s something I love. See where I am going with this?
Now, of course, there are many other dimensions and reasons why we decide to do something. I have been very fortunate in my life, and I am grateful. But, even that goes back to the theme. My passion is giving back to others.
I am motivated to accomplish all I can with the resources I have, as I am motivated to fail to learn from my mistakes. I can say I am motivated to get to bed every night to wake up early to do it again. Why? Because I love the opportunities a new day can bring me!
Here’s the deal. I can’t give you passion. I can’t be your only motivator. But I can inspire you to live a life with passion; Finding out what your “why” is, is up to you.
We all know people who punch in the time clock — and even worse — countdown the days to retire. That’s not living. That’s existing. To have a fulfilled life, you must integrate what you love to do — not only live by what you are supposed to do.
Time to get out the pen and piece of paper. The ultimate experience in life is to jump out of bed with a strong passion for life and live the best version of yourself every day. The ultimate experience in life is to do as many things that you love to do within 24 hours. And to do them effectively.
Ok. Let’s quickly swing back to why I get up early. Think of one hobby that fulfills you the most: playing a sport, an instrument, working in the garden. Or cooking. Whatever. Who cares. Only you know. What if you had the opportunity to do these things every morning (let’s pretend you could make a living from it if you don’t currently.) All of you know a passion that comes to mind. That is what you love to do. It’s time to start being aware of these things and integrating them into your life.
“If you want to identify your passions and integrate them into your life, you need to make it happen.”
With the following few questions, I’m going to have you dig deeper into finding your passion. I want you to sit and think about this, honestly. How can you bring your answers to life? What do you need to change to fuel your passion? What do you need to let go of?
Let’s roll up our sleeves and dig in.
- What are you passionate about? There's no right or wrong answer.
- When do you feel most fulfilled? What are you doing when you feel this way?
- What parts of your current job fire you up? What roles don’t you like?
- How often do you do the thing you are passionate about? Once a week? Once a month?
- Are you content with what you just wrote down? If not, it's time to reevaluate. What changes can you implement into your daily life? Can you implement your passion into your routine? Can you make a side business out of it? If so, start to think logistically and realistically.
Today’s blog is about getting some concrete thoughts on your passion. Next, we will discuss how to implement these ideas into a purpose.
We have one go-around on this planet. Do not waste one second longer not coming from a place of pure passion. We are on the road to you hitting that higher vibration you need.
It starts with your passion.
